I Have Meaning In Life
And I Know Why I Am Here!

If you have ever felt lost, hopeless or lacking a purpose in life, you are not alone. Millions of people around the world feel similarly lost and hopeless in today’s world.
The reason so many of our children, young men and women feel so hopelessly lost is because we have abandoned God in our lives.
We have created new false gods, like money, status, mobile phones, gadgets and materialistic goods to show off to friends, family and acquaintances. We seek their approval and acknowledgment to feel appreciated and fulfilled. We feel happy when they praise us for our success. We feel lost when the world puts us down or abandons us for our shortcomings.

God Never Abandons Us

Imagine if you created something beautiful and wonderful. Something like, a colorful painting or a delicately crafted sculpture. A piece of wonderfully written poetry with the finest lyrics that would leave the most gifted of writer and poets in awe. Would you then proceed to abandon this work of art or see it go to waste?

Know that the Lord is God. It is he who made us, and we are his; We are his people, the sheep of his pasture.
– Psalms 100:3

Just as you would never abandon the most brilliant of your creation, God does not abandon his children, for we are the best of his creation and his most beloved. All of us are. Without regard
to the color of our skin, where we are born or which language we speak, God believes in all of us and stays with us in all situations.

Whether you are rich or poor, successful in life or failing, God has a purpose for You.

God Never Creates Anything without A Purpose

Have a look around you. Do you see anything without purpose? The mountains and the oceans, the rivers, trees and flowers, the sun and the moon, even the dirt beneath your feet, they all have a purpose. Some provide conditions for life, others provide food. Some are the source of light and heat that make our world a better place.
If God has a purpose, even for the dirt under your feet, would it be possible that the Heavenly Father would not have a purpose for You? The most beloved of his creations that God shaped in his own image?

The purposes of a person’s heart are deep waters, but one who has insight draws them out.
– Proverbs 20:5

The message of God is clear. You DO have a purpose. The only thing that is lacking is for you to find what it is.

To Find God Is To Be At Peace

The purpose of your life is assigned by God. He is the most perfect of creators. Would it be possible for him to give your life a purpose without giving you the tools to fulfill your destiny?

For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord. Plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.
– Jeremiah 29:11 – 14

If you are feeling down, unsure of the meaning of life, always remember in your heart that God knows your purpose. He will reveal your destiny to you in time, if you seek guidance from Him.

Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. T he Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.
– Philippians 4:6 – 7

Everyone goes through high times and low. People who persevere are the ones who give regular thanks and keep faith in their heart that God is with them. He will set things right in the end.

Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable – if anything is excellent or praiseworthy – think about such things. Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me –  put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you.
– Philippians 4:8 – 9
